Keen Games' Diablo-meets-Minecraft cooperative sandbox RPG Portal Knights has earned rave reviews in Steam early access, and now it's invading consoles. Starting today, PS4 and Xbox One owners can see what all the hype is about.
The free trail lets players check out the first level of the game either by yourself, with friends online, or via split-screen co-op. After you create your character, you can introduce yourself to the basic gameplay loop, which includes combat and crafting. If you end up liking the game and want to purchase it, all of your progress will carry over when the game officially launches on May 23.
